I'm continuing to try and do posts not just about the gadgets I love and/or have, but for anything that's popular. I'm sure plenty of assistants reading this and/or their bosses have a Blackberry. I recently read about a free app for the Blackberry called Mypoynt and if you have one you might want to check it out. The app helps you to find businesses and movies in your area by utilizing your GPS information. I viewed the video demo of the app on the Blackberry Storm and it seems useful and pretty easy to use. I will say that I have some apps like this for my iPhone and they seem to be a bit more visually dynamic, but most of the info you can find is similar.
